RECITAL COSTUME DEPOSITS: Please note that recital costume deposits were due with your October tuition.  Please make sure your deposits were paid.  Costumes will be ordered by mid-November, so we can get them in earlier.  All classes will perform in the recital except specialty classes: back handspring strength/flex and leaps and turns.  A $30 deposit is required for each costume your child will need.  No costume will be ordered without a deposit being made.  Our recital pictures will be taken in April this year, in order to have more time to work on the program book.  The balance of $40 (preschool/adv preschool) and $45 (all others) will be due by the first of February.

A $20 shipping/processing fee will be added for all costumes ordered after November 12th.   If ordered late there is no guarantee that the costume will be delivered in time for the class pictures in April.

PLEASE STOP BY THE OFFICE AND MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CHILD IS IN THE RIGHT CLASSES SO THAT THE RIGHT RECITAL COSTUME IS ORDERED.  ALSO, LET US KNOW IF THERE IS A CLASS THAT YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE PERFORMING WITH IN THE RECITAL.  THANKS!! 

STUDENTS WILL BE MEASURED DURING CLASS THIS WEEK.  IF YOU MISS CLASS THIS WEEK PLEASE BE SURE TO STOP IN THE OFFICE AND HAVE THE STUDENT MEASURED WHEN YOU RETURN.

LAURA’S STUDIO SWEATS & BAGS: We are ordering LSOPA embroidered bags and rhinestone sweats.  Sizes range from YXS-AXL.   DANCE BAGS- $35, SWEATSUIT  $45. 

ZAXBY’S NIGHT:  Please come out to Zaxby’s in Florence on Monday, December 5th from 4-8 and have a great meal and support the LSOPA Dance Company.

GOLD PARTY: The studio will be hosting a gold party on Thursday, November 17th from 5 – 8 pm.  Gold is at a near record high at $1750 an ounce.  Bring your old gold or silver and receive cash on the spot, just in time for your holiday shopping.  Chris Quarter from Southeastern Gold Exchange will be here and will give you an on the spot appraisal.  We offered this back in the spring and several people left with over a $1000 for their unwanted gold and silver.  Anyone is welcome to attend this event.  Please invite your neighbors, coworkers, etc.

ATTENTION PRE BALLET/TAP STUDENTS:  Everyone in pre ballet/tap is invited to perform a tap number in December at the mall.  The purchase of a sweat suit with rhinestones ($45) and pink Santa hat are required.  Please sign up in the office if you are interested.  They will be learning the dance in class.  We are currently trying to get a date together with the mall and will let you know as soon as we do.  Any questions you can call the studio at 760-0758.

CHANGE IN CHRISTMAS BREAK DATES:  Please note the dates that the studio will be closed for Christmas Break have changed to bring them in line with when the schools are closed.  STUDIO WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21st – TUESDAY, JANUARY 3rd.  Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 4th.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:  Please note that class tuition is based on a 36 week year divided evenly by 9.5 months.  Some months have 2, 3, 4 or 5 weeks, but each monthly tuition payment remains the same (August is half ).  Tuition remains the same regardless of classes unattended, absences, vacations, and holidays.  No refunds or adjustments will be made due to absences.  Make-up classes are encouraged and must be taken within the month missed.  If there are extenuating circumstances (medical, etc.) please contact the office or Mrs. Laura so other arrangements can be made.  If you choose to withdraw from a class please let the office know before the start of the month so that your account can be adjusted, once the month has started the account cannot be adjusted.

REMINDERS:  Tuition is due by the 10th of the month or a $10.00 late fee will be applied to your account.
